Taizo Son

Serial global entrepreneur and venture investor. Since founding his first company while in university, he has consistently been involved in launching tech startups. In 2009, he embarked on a mission to “build a startup ecosystem in Asia” and began investing in and supporting the growth of startups. In 2014, he founded Mistletoe, an organization dedicated to creating social impact, and began fostering entrepreneurs who solve global challenges. In 2016, he established VIVITA, a movement to include children in future society-building. In 2023, he co-founded The Edgeof in Singapore, expanding his activities to include building startup ecosystems across broader Asia and providing startup support through VC funds. His activities continue to expand year by year.

世界連続起業家、ベンチャー投資家。大学在学中に起業して以来、一貫してテック・スタートアップの立ち上げに従事。2009年に「アジアにスタートアップ・エコシステムをつくる」という志を掲げ、スタートアップへの投資や成長支援に取り組み始める。2014年には、社会的インパクトの創出を使命とするMistletoeを立ち上げ、世界の問題を解決する起業家の育成を開始。また2016年には、子どもを未来の社会づくりに包摂するムーブメントであるVIVITAを創設。そして2023年からは、シンガポールにThe Edgeofを共同創業し、広域アジアでのスタートアップ・エコシステム構築とVCファンドによるスタートアップ支援を開始するなど、その活動は年々拡大を続けている。
